derailed plans

it is often how things work isn't it? Instead of a night of working out and sweating, it was a night of eating instead. My brother ordered pizza and he asked me to watch his children for a bit because there was a lapse of time from the time of one parent getting home to another. And just like that, the plans to burn 500 calories became the consumption of 1000.

Did I come home and work out? Nope. The consumption of calories overloaded my system and I was a mess. I did, rather, chug some Maalox. Darn pepperoni.
